All applications are subject to verification. All decisions regarding eligibility are final.
Registration is open year-round. Once your organization is registered, you do not have to register again with Play Positive.
If you are trying to register your organization and find that your organization is already registered, please contact the person within your organization that originally registered your team or contact the Play Positive Team.
By participating in the program, both organizations and individuals agree to verification of all information provided during registration and certification as well as any and all selection documentation.

Once you submit your registration, please allow up to five (5) business days for review and approval. We review all information submitted to determine eligibility for the Play Positive Pledge program.
Organizations which register for the Play Positive Pledge program will be listed in the participating organization database. This listing will include the First Name and Last Name of the associated and/or registering individual associated with the organization ("Organization Administrator"). Should you feel the name listed as the Organization Administrator is incorrect, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
When supporters make a Pledge, they will provide a point to the respective organization. A point can only be completed during a Pledge period – Spring (February 15 – April 15), Fall (August 15 – October 15) or Winter (November 15 – January 15).
Pledge seasons open at 12:00am EST the first day of each season (February 15, August 15 and November 15) and close at 11:59pm EST the last day of each season (April 15, October 15 and January 15).
Once points are verified (see Email Verification), the First Name and Last Name of each individual supporter assigning a point to a respective Organization is visible to the Organization Administrator. Please note: At no time will the email addresses of any Participants be shared with the Organization Administrator or displayed on the website.
The top five organizations in each division that obtain the greatest number of valid points will earn a Play Positive Pledge grant. A point is considered valid if the email address used to complete the Pledge is verified by the user and associated with only one real person.
After an individual completes a Pledge, a verification email is sent to the email address provided. The participant must log into their email client (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL etc.) and click on the verification link within their email to verify their email address. Email verification must be completed within 8 hours of the close of Pledge for the pledge to count towards the current period. Emails verified after the 8 hour window will result in the pledge counting towards the next Pledge season.

Make sure to add email@example.com to your contact list in order to receive communication from Play Positive.
If an email address is not verified, the Pledge point is not part of the organization's point count.
Please note, Leaderboard and other widgets display an Organization's current point totals are unofficial and are not considered final until the close of the Promotion. Leaderboard results at the end of the Promotion are verified for compliance with all rules and requirements as outlined herein and points may be disqualified in the verification process, thereby changing the unofficial results.
Liberty Mutual Insurance will grant up to ten (10) grants each period. The division of these grants will be:
Liberty Mutual Insurance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, not to grant any or all grants if organizations are deemed to be ineligible. In addition, Liberty Mutual Insurance reserves the right to discontinue this program at any time without prior notification. Grants must be used for expenses related to the winning youth sports organizations. Checks will be made out to the winning organizations and require organizations to file a W9 with Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Individuals must be 18 years or older in order to take the Play Positive Pledge. No students or youth sports participants may take the Pledge and assign their point to an organization. Employees of Liberty Mutual Insurance, its subsidiaries and our national youth sport partners and their immediate family members, are not eligible to take the Pledge.
Students or team players under the age of 18 can help promote their team's Pledge efforts but cannot complete a Pledge. Liberty Mutual Insurance, at its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to exclude any credits deemed to be from individuals under 18.
Any organization found to be promoting or encouraging students or youth athletes under the age of 18 to participate in the program in violation of the Rules of the program will be immediately disqualified from the Pledge competition.
Individuals participating must be a legal resident of one of the 50 states of the United States or the District of Columbia and must be residing in the United States at the time of the grant. State selection is required at the time of registration and is subject to verification.
Individuals may complete only one (1) Pledge and assign it to one (1) youth sports organization during a given period. Only one email address can be associated to one Pledge. Individuals may not credit multiple organizations. Liberty Mutual Insurance, at its sole and absolute discretion, will disqualify any Pledges and points deemed to be duplicative.
Each individual Pledge must represent a real individual. Individuals completing a Pledge may not use a disposable or temporary email address.
An organization and their directors may not complete a Pledge on behalf of other members or utilize an individuals' email address from a Roster. Should an organization engage in such activity, they will be immediately disqualified, regardless of the number of Pledges in question or the number of total points accrued.
Liberty Mutual Insurance strictly enforces a no gaming policy. Liberty Mutual Insurance reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to exclude any organization who is deemed to have certifications that represent gaming of any kind. This includes disposable email addresses, multiple entries, or false email addresses. Should gaming be found within an organization's assigned points, the organization will be immediately removed from the program and not be allowed to participate in the current Pledge period. All decisions are at Liberty Mutual Insurance's sole and absolute discretion and are not subject to review by the organization or any individual.
Individuals who participate in the program acknowledge that they may receive information from Liberty Mutual Insurance and our national youth sports partners regarding the Play Positive Pledge program as well as other Play Positive content and information about Liberty Mutual Insurance's products and services.
Winners will be notified via email. Failure to respond to email communications within established time periods may result in disqualification. Organization recipients agree that their names, likeness and personal statements may be used in winner announcements and in Liberty Mutual Insurance press releases and other promotional materials.
